I have been with Graceful Moves Dance since the day they opened their doors. I have been involved in the dance world for more than 50 years . Graceful Moves is a great place for children to learn how to dance. The teachers are talented , kind, creative, and educated. Most of them have taken dance in college and or attending programs to become certified by Dance Masters of America. All of them have taken a multitude of master classes. They have won countless awards for choreography, technique, sportsmanship and performance both regionally and in National competitions. They have had several students who won scholarships to Hollywood and London.The love and knowledge of dance and commitment to the students is the most important thing to everyone at GMD. Extensive remodelling was done last year that included enlarging a class room and putting in sprung dance floors . Graceful Moves Dance is a clean, friendly, safe place that educates children in dance offering both recreational and competitive classes.

I love GMD! My children and I have been at this studio for 11 years. It is family oriented, safe, clean, fun and the teachers are there because they love dance and want to share their knowledge with new dancers and competitive dancers. We have made lifelong friends here and will always support Graceful Moves Dance!!!

i have danced at gmd since i was 6. i’ve gotten so many great opportunities because of it !!! everyone on the company team is very close, and we’re all definitely a family. the teachers are great, and they are all super nice and fun to be around. since i started, the studio has been remodeled to make it an even better place to spend my time. the classes and teachers also really help to improve your dancing. all of my classes are challenging for me and they’re certainly helping me to get better. we go to four competitions a year, and we always do very well. every year we get a “spirit award” for acting like a team and a family. last year i even got a scholarship to go to hollywood to be in a music video, which i would have never been able to do without my gmd family’s support. the studio owner grace anne is also amazing. she teaches the tap classes, which always do very well at competitions. she can be strict at times, but it’s only to help you, and it sure does. all in all, i’m at graceful moves a lot, and it’s an amazing place to be !!

I danced at graceful moves for 2 years. The classrooms are on the smaller size. Three out of the four classrooms have tile floors. The main room has the exact same flooring like the flooring on the stage. You stretch for most of the hour and do your dance for 10 or 15 minutes. You don't learn your dance until january of february depending on the rec. schedule. There was only one in studio rehearsal for the recital. Doesn't offer many advanced classes, either. Only for the company. For the pay you pay $75 for a 45 minute class for two months. Little bit more expensive than other studios. Also recital was more expensive than other studios around the area

Highly disorganized. I have been extremely disappointed in the lack of communication overall. No credits given for missed classes during the studio move if you could not adjust your schedule to get make up classes on different days. Waste of money. Was hoping for the "family" atmosphere noted in reviews from years past, but that has not been anywhere near my experience. Do not recommend.
