Anthony Capobianco1 StarI've been a member at Title for about 4 years. I've been to multiple locations across the country and always had a good experience until now.
My mother passed away in June and I don't currently live in Michigan but I came here to handle the arrangements and transferred my membership to this local gym.
On Sunday August 4th I notified the gym in an email that I will need to cancel my membership due to handling family affairs. I asked for a refund being that I didn't use the gym and won't be using it anymore . They told me "sorry no refunds" we will transfer your membership back to Texas
And in October or November you can use it then.
I don't need a future use... I need a "refund due to unexpected funeral costs. My gym in Austin agreed with me that this isn't the way to run a business.
I was told the owner is the one that made this decision to not refund my money.
It really shows how insensitive someone can be in a time such as this. I'll never go back to this location. Or the Troy location since the same guy owns both
IN RESPONSE TO THE OWMERS REPLY
This is actually not the case as I’ve reached out to several Title Gym owners. This was 100% YOUR decision to keep my my money not corporate. Let’s be honest
However you are simply using the “corporate policy verbiage to keep my money. This is NOT how you run a small business and certainly not doing the right thing. .Tuesday 6th August 2024
LaToya Edwards5 StarI really enjoyed the front desk staff. They were so helpful in showing me around and making me feel welcome. Very encouraging. Got me to join without feeling "salesy". I appreciated the time, attention and motivation. The coaches have been wonderful also. I had a bad experience with another club where I got lost with the combo moves and nobody cared to assist. This was a very different experience at Title. I am excited for more classes. This is a great location also.Monday 25th March 2024
