I have been coming here for over a year; I love how it was beginner friendly but offered advanced classes as I developed. Vic and the other instructors are professionals who teach practical self defense, not just how to score points at a tournament. This is definitely the best gym around if you want top notch training in different, effective disciplines. The best part of my day is coming here, thanks Vic!

There aren’t words for how much my life has changed in only the last 6 months of being here. You’ll learn here that learning how to fight is a lot more than just how to move your body. Be warned: this gym is not for the weak, it’s for people who no longer want to be.

I was here back at the end of 2022 in the winter time for a week long free trial (I didn't complete it though). The instructor seemed to be a tough figure. Some people need that kind of coaching, but I couldn't handle it at the time. I had just been released from a hospital following a major depressive episode the summer before. Now it's been a year and a half since then, and I think I'm calmed down enough to post a review. It was a fun experience but I'm giving two stars because the location and presentation of the gym were a bit shabby. The location is hard to spot at night in moderate heavy traffic. The instructor also teaches Muay Thai in a manner that messed up how I practiced what I thought I'd learned at proving grounds MMA gym the summer before, and even now I'm trying to unlearn what the victorious MMA guys drilled into me so I can restore my lost ability to do rapid fire serial round house kicks. Also the culture of the place is tough. I didn't find it inviting. Lastly they are an annual payment contract gym. You have to pay for a year or something like that. Not easy to back yourself out of, financially. Ever heard of a mcdojo?

can’t say enough good things about coach Vic and the community he’s cultivated. A legitimate tight knit family from all backgrounds. Classes are no joke, earn your stripes, no handouts. No ego tolerated which I love. He will make you a better fighter, a better man, a better woman if you’re willing to show up
